July is turning into another busy month. I spent last Thursday evening at Stained Glass Stuff with three other ladies working on mosaic pieces. I failed in the measure-twice-cut-once category and had to identify different glass and re-cut one set of pieces... I put the finishing touches on Road to the Lake yesterday. I am balancing time spent in my studio working on new pieces and time devoted to sorting and removing all of the glass, etc. from my studio so they can change all of the windows in our house next week. oday I ground and foiled most of a new purple abstract piece. Tomorrow is fully booked with my volunteer activities and Friday I am at Galerie Old Chelsea from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. I will have time Sunday to finish the purple piece and then I will have to close the studio until after the window replacement.
