Ta - da ! This project was three days on the table - I can't tell you how many times I changed my mind about the selection and placement of glass. There are seven pieces of heritage crystal and glass to catch the light and add sparkle. The lens changed from a rectangular projector lens embedded in the 'city' to a round one, nestled at the tops of the buildings. I now have a table full of small glass off-cuts so I may need to create a smaller design tomorrow.

It was a pretty busy day at Galerie Old Chelsea today. A very charming couple who were celebrating their golden wedding anniversary were charmed by Workus Interruptus and purchased this piece as a souvenir of 50 years of wedded bliss.
Wow - it has been a busy month! We had a house guest for a few weeks over Canada Day, then I made a trip to Edmonton and we are now putting together a small shipment for Edmonton as well as getting ready to welcome a new bird into the household. I have found time to create a few new pieces, including two commissions. The newest pieces as well as recent sales can be seen at the tops of the pages in my website. I am looking forward to some uninterrupted creative time in August .... wish me luck!
