What a busy week! I delivered the clear textured panel commissioned by a client. It measures 26 inches by 42 inches and fills the dining room window in the client's home, overlooking the courtyard. The sunny afternoon allowed us to see immediately how the textured glass and bevels 'dance' in the sunlight. A visit to Stained Glass Stuff to look through some of the glass they purchased from a Montreal store that had closed down helped to re-stock my collection of clear textures as well as to select a number of pieces of coloured and textured glass, many of which are no longer in production. For a glass addict, this is very exciting! I did find time to complete two small panels, one using sea glass and kiln-fired crystal, and the other with a string of crystal beads. Let the weekend begin!

The first image is 'Polyanna', a panel that I finished yesterday with clear textures and some chandelier parts. It will be included in the pieces on display at the community art show at Oak Park from September 18-20. The two others are pieces that were sold through Galérie Old Chelsea earlier in July. Stained Glass Stuff got some exciting new glass this weekend and they are holding some for me until I get in on Monday. I can't even imagine where my next project will go ......
