So many ideas and so little time! I have to confess that I may have over-committed myself in 2017. My short-term work contract will continue into the new year but I plan to make more room for creative glass making in 2018. The large, round piece of glass above is cut from the bottom of a 5 gallon/189 litre glass jug and will make a great feature piece in a privacy screen....when I find time! Many of my 'Out of Chaos - Trees' sold this year. I have had a lot of fun integrating my heritage glass into the trees and can't wait to find time to make more. They will be featured during Winterlude at il Primo Restaurant on Preston Street here in Ottawa. I also found homes for my (very) limited series of angels....I had enough unique yellow wine glass bases to make only four of them. I do have one project on the table now which I am anxious to finish...it is the circular piece with the aquamarine accents (and a few camera lenses to challenge your perspective).
