I spent ten intense hours in my workshop today cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering six trees and three heritage window ornaments. There are still a few hours' work to put the zinc frames on the trees and to create and add the hanging loops for the window ornaments as well as to add ribbons and tie bows for the window ornaments. I am no track to meeting my end-of-day tomorrow deadline. This just gets me 'caught up' so I will have to make some more later in the week.

Sold, sold and sold! The Christmas Market at Galerie Old Chelsea has brought in lots of visitors who are walking happily out the door with my stained glass pieces. These three pieces were sold this week along with ten of my little trees and a number of my sets of heritage glass window ornaments. I will be back in my workshop tomorrow morning creating more to keep the Galerie windows filled. Thank you to my new and long-term clients!
My focus for the last month has been on producing glass for the Christmas Market at Galerie Old Chelsea and for the windows at il Primo Restaurant. What started in early October as a 'quick' project has become a passion. Creating a few small trees out of random pieces of glass left over from previous projects has now generated 29 little trees. The photos do not capture the true beauty of these trees. Come and see them in person. Fall in love with them because it is Christmas and then realize that they are trees - and they can stay in the window all year!
